The Yoga Mahotsav celebrations continued at the Consulate General of India, Birmingham, with another enriching session titled “Mindful Yoga of Inner Awakening”, held ahead of the International Day of Yoga 2026 on 9th June, 2026.
The rejuvenating session was organised by Cllr Dr Mona Khurana (Purple Mind Community Services) and Mr Amit Khanna (Sutton Parivaar, INSIGHT UK), bringing together members of diverse communities to experience the benefits of yoga, mindfulness, and inner well-being.
Participants engaged in guided practices designed to promote mental clarity, emotional balance, and holistic health, fostering a deeper understanding of yoga as a tool for inner transformation and well-being.
As anticipation builds towards the main International Day of Yoga celebrations on 21 June at Victoria Square, Birmingham, the session offered a truly uplifting experience of wellness, harmony, and community spirit.
The Consulate General of India, Birmingham, continues to encourage wider community participation in Yoga Mahotsav activities, reinforcing the message of yoga as a universal practice for health, peace, and unity.
