Consul General Inaugurates CAPEXIL India Pavilion at InstallerSHOW 2026 - 4th July, 2026

Consul General of India in Birmingham, Dr. Venkatachalam Murugan, inaugurated the CAPEXIL India Pavilion at InstallerSHOW 2026 held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, on 4 July 2026.

The India Pavilion, organised by the Chemical and Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL), showcases a diverse range of high-quality ceramics, tiles, bathroom accessories, sanitaryware, and related products from Indian manufacturers. The pavilion highlights India's growing capabilities in the construction materials and building products sector and reinforces the country's commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.

During the inauguration, the Consul General interacted with the Indian exhibitors and commended their efforts to promote 'Made in India' products in the United Kingdom. He noted that participation in international trade exhibitions such as InstallerSHOW provides valuable opportunities for Indian businesses to expand their global footprint, forge new partnerships, and strengthen commercial ties between India and the UK.

The Indian delegates engaged with British small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), industry professionals, and potential business partners, exploring avenues for collaboration and enhancing bilateral trade in the construction and building products sector.
