Consul General Visits VFS Global Visa Application Centre in Leicester - 25th June, 2026

Consul General of India in Birmingham, Dr. Venkatachalam Murugan, visited the VFS Global Visa Application Centre in Leicester on 25 June 2026 to review its operations and engage with the centre's management and staff.

During the visit, the Consul General was briefed on the centre's operational processes, service delivery mechanisms, and customer facilitation measures. He reviewed the functioning of the centre and interacted with the staff to gain a better understanding of the procedures in place for providing consular and visa-related services.

The Consul General offered suggestions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring the smoother functioning of the centre, with the objective of further improving the quality, accessibility, and timeliness of services provided to the Indian community and other applicants.
