On 16 March, Dr Venkatachalam Murugan, Consul General of India, interacted with Indian students at the University of Warwick, including members of the Warwick India Forum and the Warwick Indian Society.
During the interaction, the Consul General apprised students of various initiatives undertaken by the Government of India and discussed key student welfare matters. He also addressed queries and encouraged students to actively engage with opportunities that support their academic and professional growth.
Reaffirming the Government of India’s commitment to its diaspora, Dr Murugan assured students of the Consulate’s full support in ensuring a safe, successful, and enriching experience during their stay in the United Kingdom.
The session provided a valuable platform for open dialogue, strengthening connections between the Consulate and the Indian student community, while fostering a sense of support and belonging among students in the UK.
