Connecting Indian Districts to the World - 09 January 2026
January 14, 2026The Consul General of India, Dr. Venkatachalam Murugan, along with distinguished community members, inaugurated the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative at the Consular Hall on 09 January 2026.
The event showcased the rich diversity, creativity, and cultural heritage of India’s districts, highlighting unique local products and craftsmanship from across the country. The ODOP initiative aims to promote indigenous products, support local artisans and entrepreneurs, and strengthen global awareness of India’s district-level excellence.
The inauguration witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of the Indian community, reflecting strong support for initiatives that connect India’s grassroots strengths with global platforms.
