Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS) - 2025

Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS), a brainchild of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is a visionary initiative celebrating the timeless cultural bond between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, strengthening civilizational links and promoting the spirit of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat”. It aims to bridge tradition with contemporary discourse. The fourth edition of KTS, taking place from 2-15 December 2025, continues the mission of fostering deeper cultural and intellectual ties between Tamil Nadu and Kashi.

Building on the tremendous success of previous editions, KTS 4.0 offers participants immersive experiences across Varanasi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya ranging from seminars and heritage tours to cultural performances, exhibitions, local cuisines, and sporting events. KTS 4.0, with the theme “Let us Learn Tamil - Tamil Karkalam”, seeks to spread classical Tamil knowledge across India, including through the campaign “Karpom Tamil” teaching Tamil to students in Uttar Pradesh, further uniting the nation in its cultural richness.
