Special “India Corner” Inaugurated at His Majesty’s Prison Birmingham - 19 September 2025

A Special India Corner was inaugurated at His Majesty’s Prison (HMP) Birmingham, featuring a curated collection of books on Indian culture, heritage, and values.

This initiative, organised as part of #SevaParv, #SevaPakhwada2025, and #SevaParv2025, aims to provide inmates with an opportunity to imbibe positive values and draw inspiration for better living as they prepare to reintegrate into society.

Speaking on the occasion, officials highlighted the significance of cultural and educational resources in fostering personal growth and helping individuals make constructive life choices. The India Corner is envisioned as a space for learning, reflection, and the promotion of mutual understanding.

The effort underscores India’s commitment to service, compassion, and community well-being, in line with the spirit of Seva Parv.
