“India Insight” Digital Screen Inaugurated at Consulate General of India, Birmingham - 9 April 2026

On 9 April 2026, the Consulate General of India, Birmingham inaugurated the India Insight Digital Screen, a new initiative aimed at enhancing public engagement and promoting India’s rich cultural and tourism landscape.

The digital screen was formally inaugurated by Consul General Dr. Venkatachalam Murugan in the presence of distinguished guests and members of the community.

The India Insight display has been conceptualized as a soft diplomacy corner within the Consulate premises, offering visitors an immersive window into India. The screen will showcase curated content highlighting the essence of Incredible India, while also providing useful information on tourism, consular services, and ongoing initiatives of the Government of India.

Featuring a dynamic rotation of the latest videos, the platform aims to promote India’s diverse cultural heritage, vibrant traditions, and vast travel opportunities. It will also serve as a valuable resource for visitors seeking information about consular services and engagement with the Consulate.
