E-Auction of Diamond and Yellow Sapphire Stones

The Customs Preventive Commissionerate, Mumbai, designated as the nodal authority in India for the disposal of seized and confiscated precious stones, will be conducting an online e-auction of confiscated diamonds and yellow sapphire stones on 04 November 2025. In order to ensure transparency and to encourage broad participation, especially from international gemstone buyers and traders, it is requested that this auction notice be publicized through the official websites and communication channels of Indian Embassies/Consulates in key diamond-importing countries. Missions are further requested to share the attached Auction Notice with relevant trade bodies, jewellers' associations and importers to facilitate overseas participation.
