Consulate General of India, Birmingham invites applications from eligible candidates with valid permission to work in the UK, for the post of:
Junior Assistant
Terms & Conditions: The post is a full time permanent position (upon successful completion of probation) and carries Annual Bonus (one month’s salary) and 30 days’ annual leave. Starting salary with be £1350 plus admissible Cost of Living Allowance.
Minimum Qualification: It is mandatory for the applicants to have valid long term UK Work Permit/Visa if they are not UK nationals. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in similar capacities in Government/Private organisations/Diplomatic Missions/Posts. Graduates from a recognised University with excellent computer skills, good telephone skills and fluency in English (both oral and written) are eligible to apply subject to further desirable qualification requirements mentioned below.
Desirable: Candidates with more experience and knowledge of Indian languages such as Hindi, Punjabi and Gujarati and knowledge of internet/social media/Powerpoint Presentation would be preferred.
