This is inform you that the Council for Leather Exports (CLE) with its membership strength of over 3500 companies, is the apex organization under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, to promote the export of leather and leather products and footwear.  CLE regularly participates in international trade fairs and organizes Buyer Seller Meets abroad towards facilitating B2B meetings between the Indian exporters and overseas importers and thereby enhancing India's export share in the global market.

As part of export promotional activities, CLE is organizing a Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) during September 28-29, 2018 in New Delhi, India under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of the Department of Commerce, Govt. of India, wherein our Council we will be inviting  buyers of Footwear & Leather Products from all over the world.

The basic objective for organizing the RBSM by inviting potential overseas buyers is to showcase the capabilities & developments of Indian Leather & Leather Products Industry as a major sourcing destination and also to facilitate B2B meetings between Indian Exporters and overseas buyers for sourcing footwear and leather products from India, establishing marketing tie-ups and exploring business collaborations and joint venture agreements. 

The Highlights of the RBSM is given below :

1. The RBSM will be held in Hotel The Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi for two days during September 28-29, 2018.
2. Council is inviting the Buyers byreimbursing economy excursion fare (subject to ceiling limits) and providing 3 nights complimentary stay in a 5 Star Hotel (bed & breakfast basis)as per details given below:-

   
   Ø  Arrival in New Delhi in the evening / late evening on 27th September’18
   
   Ø  Stay in New Delhi during 27th, 28th and 29th September, 2018 (3 nights)
   
   Ø  Departure to the destinations on 30th September morning
   
   Ø  Buyers who want to arrive in New Delhi prior to 27th September or to extend their stay can do so but at their own cost
   
   ·  Complimentary airport pick-up and drop will be arranged.
   
   ·  Long distance call charges, use of Business Center/ Health Club, laundry, liquor etc in the Hotel will be borne by the individual Buyers.
   
   · The complimentary hospitality package is offered to only one Director/Senior Executive of a company.
   
   ·  The Complimentary hospitality package will be confirmed only to the Business visitors who have interest to source leather products from India.

3. The BSM will have a participation of leading Indian Manufacturer-Exporters of Leather Products displaying all types of Footwear & Components (Uppers), Leather Apparels, Leather Goods & Accessories, Leather Gloves, etc.

The Buyer Profile format is enclosed herewith. They have requested to disseminate the enclosed form along with the details of RBSM amongst top Buyers/importers of footwear and leather products and also to the Leather Industry Associations. The interested buyers may please be advised to fill up the form and send back to us for our review and extending formal invitation. 

We request your kind support to recommend names of 8-10 potential buyers who are serious to source Leather & Non-Leather Footwear, Shoe  Uppers, Leather Apparels, Leather Goods & Accessories and Leather Gloves from India.
