We are glad to inform you that after organizing the 1st edition of Source India, Surat with rewarding outcome during August 2016, SRTEPC is now organizing the 2nd edition of Source India, or Reverse Buyer-Seller Meet (RBSM), as it is popularly known from 21st to 23rd September 2018. During the mega Event of the Textile Show, over 100 manufacturers/exporters – representing different product-groups including fabrics, made-ups, fashion accessories, home textiles, yarn & fibre of different varieties/blends/mixtures, will showcase the same to their target prospective buyers for discussing business. The 3-day mega Textile Show in Surat is primarily aimed towards aggressive marketing of Indian MMF Textiles in the highly potential and emerging markets in the Middle East, Asia, Africa, CIS Countries including South American/Latin American Countries.

In this regard, they are planning to invite around 200 prominent buyers – mainly from the above regions to the Reverse Buyer Seller Meet. Visiting buyers will have an excellent opportunity to see latest textile-items under one roof, interact with Senior Business Executive of Indian companies and conclude profitable business deals. To make the proposed visit of invited buyers more useful and memorable, the Council is also planning to set-up of Theme Pavilions etc. during the mega Event of Textiles.They are also planning to organize networking events like Seminars/ Conferences/Workshops, Business Meetings on one-to-one basis including Gala Networking Dinners.

The objective of holding the Mega Export Promotion Programme in Surat is to showcase Surat, as one of the leading centres of production of Synthetic Fabrics in India, and to high-light the Council’s initiative of “Focus Surat” to further develop this thriving textile centre, as a hub of production and exports of synthetic fabrics in India.  

A core group of selected buyers invited for the Meet will be provided economy class air-tickets/3-day hotel accommodations on complimentary basis. I may also inform you that this unique Reverse Buyer Seller Meet is being part-funded under the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme of the Government of India, and the exclusive Event of Textiles is being organized with the active support & guidance of the Ministries of Commerce & Industry, and Textiles.
