The event featured inspiring videos and speeches, with Consul General Dr. Venkatachalam Murugan discussing this year's theme, 'Yoga for self and society.' Consul General and Dr Satya Sharma, Deputy Lieutenant highlighted yoga's global acceptance and its innumerable benefits for individuals and communities. Experienced instructors guided everyone through a beautiful yoga session, creating a serene and unified practice in the heart of the Midlands.
The Consulate, along with various organizations, coordinated more than 20 yoga events across 15 cities, promoting yoga's holistic benefits far and wide. This celebration showcased not only the physical and mental advantages of yoga but also its power to foster community and well-being.
