As a major step towards upgrading Visa services, collection of visa applications and their delivery has been outsourced to VF Services (UK) Limited (VFS). The firm has considerable experience in handling visa applications. At present it is handling visa applications for more than 21 countries which include the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, UAE, Thailand and Schengen nations. It has a modern IT driven on-line application and tracking system and provides value-added services. All visa applications under the jurisdiction of Consulate General of India, Birmingham are accepted through VF Services (UK) Ltd.
The Visa Application Centre provides following services:-
The VF Services (UK) Ltd. has been authorized to charge a service fee of GB Pounds 06.90 plus prevailing VAT charges @15% per application over and above the normal visa fee of the Consulate. Postal/Bank/agency charges, wherever applicable, will be additional, to be borne by the applicant. Timing for collection of documents is between 1600 hrs. and 1730 hrs. on all working days (Monday to Friday).

Fee for Ayush visa will be the same as for Medical visa i.e GBP 101/- (one hundred and one only)
1. The Post would consider Refund of Visa Fee to the applicant/s in cases where excess / multiple visa fee payment was done over and above the prescribed visa fee for all Regular/Paper Visa granted by the Consulate General of India, Birmingham.
2.The applicant should make the refund claim through email (cons.birmingham@mea.gov.in) to Consulate General of India, Birmingham, providing copies of all relevant documents i.e. proof of payment, visa application, copies of passport and applicant’s bank account details within 03 months of having made such excess / multiple payments.
3. No refund claim will be entertained after 03 months of such payment.
4. The Post will examine the claims and endeavour to settle all claims (where there are no disputes) as soon as possible after the receipt of refund requests.
