The objective of the event is to showcase the strengths of AYUSH systems and promote exports of Herbal and Ayurveda products and services globally.

India exported Herbal and Ayush products worth US $ 456 mn (Pharmexcil basket) during 2017-18 with 12% growth when compared to 2016-17 with USD 404 mn, and among the top five export destinations (region wise) are North America, EU, GCC Middle East countries ASEAN and CIS. India is one of the largest countries in the export of medicinal plants and extracts to the world next to China.

Pharmexcil is making sincere efforts to promote Ayurveda as a system of medicine globally and also the exports of traditional medicine Ayurveda, including Herbals, Dietary supplements, Nutraceutical and its value-added products, which has a tremendous potential and demand across the globe. The objective of the Business Meet is to explore various potential markets and create business opportunities to Indian exporters to promote their traditional medicines.
