Documents required for OCI's application:
Consulate General of India, Birmingham, has been receiving queries related to the
documents required for OCI applications.
In this connection, it is hereby informed that an application for an OCI card will be
accepted only after the process of surrender of the applicant's Indian Passport has
been completed and formalities related to obtaining the renunciation certificate
initiated, in short, on the basis of a receipt for fee for a Renunciation Certificate.
