Conversation with Team India Champions of the Commonwealth Games 2022, Birmingham

AKAM event for diaspora interaction with the ‘Team India Champions of the Commonwealth Games 2022’ was organized by the Consulate on 7th August 2022 at Hotel Hyatt Regency. The event saw the ensemble of nearly 200 people in addition to the stars of the evening, namely, Sunil Bahadur, Navneet Singh, Chandan Kumar Singh, Dinesh Kumar, Pinki and Nayan Moni Saikia of Lawn Bowl Team, Athletes Sreeshankar, Eldhose Paul, A. Aboobacker, Tejaswin Shankar, Priyanka Goswami & Avinash Sable and the Indian Women Hockey Team captain Savita Punia. Diaspora was thrilled to know about the dedication, commitment and achievements of our Heroes. The ceremony was embellished with cultural performance by Ms. Arunima Kumar, diaspora conversations, medal winners of Commonwealth Games 2022 and Indian cuisine. This event also marked the finale of two weeks of AKAM festivities organised by the Consulate.
