Consulate General of India, Birmingham, celebrated the Gandhi Jayanti on the 2nd of October, 2017 at its premises. The programme commenced with deepak prajval and welcome address by Consul General, Dr. Aman Puri, followed by speeches and poem recitation by well-known speakers from British and Indian Communities regarding the life, Gandhian philosophy and contributions of Rastra Pita Mahatma Gandhiji in the India's Independence movement.
