SUBCON has been UK's premier and leading  Sub contract- Manufacturing Supply Chain show dedicated to outsourced engineering services, manufacturing buyers from all
industry sectors, to source suppliers, benchmark capabilities, and secure
contracts in order to remain competitive in a global market.
 
SUBCON exhibition is being organized in Birmingham, UK, every year. This Subcon 2018 exhibition was concurrently held with three more co located shows “The Engineer Expo”, "The Advanced Manufacturing Show” and The Automechanika Birmingham show ".
 
Subcon 2018 had been a fairly successful show with about 300 exhibitors from all parts of the world. The total footfall during three day event was around 5000 (serious business visitors).
 
EEPC INDIA had organized "India  Pavilion"  at  the  42nd  edition of SUBCON  show held during 5th to 7th  June 2018 at National Expo Centre in Birmingham, UK. This year, EEPC India with the help of M/s IBEF had used very extensive "Branding and Publicity Campaign" for Indian companies & their products and very much appreciated by CGI Birmingham & participating companies. 
 
India Pavilion in Subcon 2018 exhibition consisted of 46 exhibitors including EEPC India booth and 9 other companies who had participated at the Catalogue Show organized during the show. The participating companies have displayed wide variety of Engineering products viz: Precision engineering components,  Castings, Forgings, Sheet Metal components, Aerospace and Automotive parts, Gears, Cutting tools, hydraulic components and components used in Oil and gas industry, were elegantly displayed at the show under India Pavilion.
 
India Pavilion was inaugurated by Dr Aman Puri, Consul General of India, Birmingham. Dr Puri visited  all the stalls of Indian companies and discussed in details about the product sectors displayed by individual companies under India Pavilion. Dr Puri commented “The Presence and branding is significantly improved compared to last year. It was encouraging to meet repeat businesses attending SUBCON as it clearly shows the project is benefitting them. Next year India should aim to  be the biggest international presence ”
 
Based on the feedback received from the Indian exhibitors, it can be stated that the event has been fairly successful for the participants in the India pavilion. Each exhibitor in India pavilion , on an average, has been able to establish  around 8 new contacts through this participation. Enquiries to the tune of US$ 12,96,000 has been generated during the three day event. Understand from one of the participating company M/s Trishul Machine Tools Pvt Ltd, Bangalore that they have received a spot order for their working machine displayed at the show. Other exhibitors are at various stages in their business negotiations.
