Admissions 2017-18 for Foreign Nationals at National Institute of Design (NID)

The National Institute of Design (NID) is an autonomous institute under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.

Foreign Nationals (applicants holding citizenship of any country other than Republic of India) wishing to pursue their full-time studies at National Institute of Design may apply for the forthcoming Admissions for the

Bachelor of Design (B. Des.) / Master of Design (M. Des.) programmes offered from NID’s campuses in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Gandhinagar.

Admissions are also open for Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) offered from the new NID in Vijayawada and upcoming NID in Kurukshetra.

The medium of instruction is English.15 percent supernumerary seats each in B. Des. and M. Des. programmes are reserved for applicants, subject to eligibility criteria mentioned in the Admissions Handbook 2017-18.
