On September 28 Consulate General of India, Birmingham organised a Seminar titled "India : A Healthcare Destination". In his inaugural address Consul General J K Sharma explained the cooperation between India and UK in healthcare sector which had received a big boost after the visit of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to UK in November, 2015.During the Seminar Dr Prakash Sahay gave a talk on "Medical Tourism in India". Dr Ashok Kumar made a presentation on "Relevance of Ayurveda and Yoga in Wellness Tourism". The Seminar was attended by doctors, community leaders, tour operators, academicians, ayurvedic and yoga practitioners.
